Good to see you here! I'm still trying to figure out what it's useful for. The user interface is beyond clunky, and you're capped at 300 words, which doesn't give space for thoughtful discussion. I hope you find some uses I haven't.
With 200% tariffs threatened on French wines, it looks like champagne will be replaced with real pain...
What's Wrong With This Sentence? Dept: POTUS, speaking with the NATO Secretary-General about Greenland, said, "We really need it for national security. I think that's why NATO might have to get involved."
Bonus sentence: "You know, Denmark's very far away, and really has nothing to do."
Have at it!
Austin was on the DOGE hitlist yesterday, as the GSA proposed selling five properties. Three are in the IRS complex on I-35 South. Another is the Pickle Office Building downtown, which means that Ted Cruz might be booted out. This morning, the list was replaced by a note that said, "Coming Soon."
Time once again to play "What's Wrong With This Sentence?": In the U.S. House chambers tonight, POTUS said, "We're also once again giving our police officers the support, protection and respect they so dearly deserve...They have such a hard, dangerous job, but we're going to make it less dangerous."
Turns out I underestimated. Tesla's proxy says E-Mu owns 20% of the stock, which would make his losses more like $150 billion.

Hegseth has never met a war crime he didn't like...
Tesla’s stock price has tumbled 43% from its high in Dec., as sales stall at home and in China and sink in Europe. Its market cap has dropped $520 billion, meaning E-Mu’s fortune - of which Tesla stock makes the largest chunk - has dropped roughly $65 billion.

After letting E-Mu’s Gang of Geeks into its computers, the Social Security Admin is cutting 7,000 jobs and squeezing 10 field offices to 4. It canceled 45 office leases, despite making all remote workers return to the office - which suggests more layoffs are coming. www.govexec.com/workforce/20...
How about changing the name to "Texas Strip Search"?
Apprentices and Masters Dept: Friday, we saw a confrontation between two leaders whose political careers both began on TV. One of them has gone on to become a hero to the free world. The other is still telling people they’re fired.

Half of that was what DODGE called a “clerical error,” which listed an $8 million contract as $8 billion. After more media callouts on bogus numbers, DODGE deleted the five biggest items from its list. The bottom line is that careers are being destroyed by an outfit that can't get its math right.
DODGE, the pseudo-agency charged with slashing fraud, waste, and abuse in government contracts, seems to keep posting fraudulent accounts. Its online “wall of receipts” lists $16 billion in contracts it’s canceled. When NPR dug into the actual contracts, the savings turned out to be $2 billion.
What's Wrong With This Sentence? Dept: When POTUS was asked about E-Mu's threat to fire federal workers who don't reply to his justify-your-existence letter, he remarked, "Well, it's somewhat voluntary, but it's also, if you don't answer, I guess you get fired."

What’s Wrong With This Sentence? Dept. Texas Senator Ted Cruz said this during a Commerce Committee hearing:
“U.S. acquisition of Greenland is not about military force, it’s about diplomacy and shared interests, the same way that we acquired the territories that make us the nation we are.”
