The earlier reviewers for D&D 2024 Artificer are already having to go out of their way to find work arounds for the base class....Dammmmn!!
Might as well just ask your DM if you can play a Merchanist from Tales of the Valiant in your Eberron games.

I mean.... they nerfed it through out the class though. Even if it was one feature I can get but .. all the way up to the Capstone feature makes it significantly less than .... all other half casters.

There is so many good things that D&D 2024 has done with cleaning up the 5E rules in general but to see that counter- balanced with an almost lackluster ambition towards everything else they offer is so sad. 3rd Party Publishers are killing it with what they are offering for 5E 2024. keep it up!!

Hot Take: Keeping my fingers crossed that the new Eberron book is good because from what I've seen from the Forgotten Realms books they are the perfect compliment to 2014 Spelljammer: Adventures in Wildspace and that's not a compliment for 5E2024 D&D going forward. #dnd
