lol-saw this @nytimes.com ad shortly after watching a couple wrestle a Shibumi for 30 mins, change its location 3x, exchange words such as “it was fine the way it was before,” walk away from each other in annoyance, say “I hate the Shibumi,” and finally just leave the beach.
An insane and relentless bird woke me up at 5 am and I …. reached for my Merlin app to find out WTF it was. I feel like I have officially entered my birdwatching era. Also, listening to the recording, it was obviously an insomniac turkey

I need to get up
This is only partly about Meagan Sussex. This is about a general lack of respect for how people want to be referred to. It’s not about you and whether you agree or find it “hard” or whatever excuse
@nymag.com Meghan Sussex has recently and publicly reiterated her correct name. Why do you disrespect her by not using it?
What he said
I feel the same way about “Friyay.”
Beyond cruel. Absolutely inhumane.
This is the thing I have a hard time wrapping my head around. You have one precious life and you’re going to spend it going out of your way to make other people suffer?
I still don’t understand how “genre” is a genre but maybe it’s bc I don’t have an MFA
Love this cover!
