Perspective on the state of education... I left an academic career in 2012 because the working conditions were so bad compared to my media freelance jobs. 14yrs later and media work is still miles better for my family. Education is completely broken.

Schools pumping out labor supply into a market with lower demand. Couple that with "desireable lifestyle career" which attracts the children generational wealth who can afford to work for free and subsidize their own labor for "passion projects"

.... and you have a unhealthy economic equation.
