"The error is between the chair and the keyboard" - this is one of my favorite podcasts for interviews ever. We went into all sorts of fantastic stuff in linting and I'm so appreciative to get a chance to show off what we're doing in Flint. Thanks Erik & Kamran!

What bits have you found problematic? Historically the nullability support wasn't terrific, but that seems to have been nicely resolved by using Microsoft.AspNetCore.OpenApi in place of Swashbuckle with its support for newer versions of the OpenAPI Specification

Firstly: thank you for every language I've used in my career ❤️

What does Anders think the advent of AI writing code will change about the evolution of languages? Do certain features become less important and others more as a consequence? Is stagnation a possibility as "things are good enough"?

Full-stack static typing with OpenAPI TypeScript and Microsoft.AspNetCore.OpenApi | johnnyreilly This post will show you how to write full stack applications with static typing from back to front using OpenAPI, TypeScript and .NET.

My own experience has actually been rather positive on this front; been using TypeScript and C# together through Swagger/Open API for years now. Not perfect, but more than good enough. You may find this helpful: johnnyreilly.com/dotnet-opena...

Release v9.5.7 · TypeStrong/ts-loader fix: TS5011 errors with TypeScript 6.0: transpileModule called with rootDir: undefined [#1678] - thanks @julioz and @errorx666 feat: migrate to trusted publishing - thanks @johnnyreilly Skipping 9...

New version of ts-loader published which will hopefully deal with some TS v6 issues. Had to migrate to npm trusted publishing to ship this. Wow the DX on trusted publishing could be improved. Tell me why it won't publish! Don't leave me to guess and read blog posts

years ago I had this really uncomfortable moment where someone called me out for being so negative & suggested I could maybe have a vastly different experience if I focused my attention on different things

I made a silly-feeling change & it literally made me into a different person in the best way

Just came back from seeing it at the IMAX with the family - really awesome experience. I'd heard the audiobook years ago and really enjoyed it. It's a brilliant adaptation - and Ryan Gosling has charm to spare!

Open source isn't a tip jar – it's time to charge for access Opinion: A handful thrive, most scrape by as companies make billions off their code

“Sentry is one of the few vendors that systematically maps its dependency tree and then actually cuts checks to the people maintaining that stack, as opposed to just talking about ‘giving back.’”

He's not wrong, you know.
