Odd that no one is pointing at Sherrod. I mean, we'll need a win in the Ohio Gov race to backstop his Senate seat (because Sherrod will win this year) but no one has as good a pro-worker message as he does, and the up vs. down message is what will win in 2028. Of that I have no doubt.

I'm not gonna do the 2028 handicapping in 2026. I'm just gonna point out that a gay man and a Black woman are not good bets in this next election. I'm sorry that reality is like that, but it is.

AOC/Sherrod or Sherrod/AOC. That's my ticket.

The biggest story in the world right now is that the president of the United States is a demented old man who takes pleasure in torturing and killing people and is committing crimes with impunity. And yet most legacy media outlets are too cowardly to tell it like it is.

"The President is insane" ... should be the only thing I see, hear, or read in American media.

But it won't be.

Of course Republicans think we're stupid.

But tonight at 9pm, we're going to find out just how stupid they think we are.

Hegseth Strikes Two Black and Two Female Officers From Promotion List

This should surprise no one, and anything less would disappoint MAGA and cost the GOP votes.

Acting like this will embarrass anyone is a mistake. It’s something they’re proud, not ashamed of.

This is just conservatism minus the excuses. www.nytimes.com/2026/03/27/u...

Trump's name is headed to dollar bills as cash use continues to decline President Trump's signature is set to appear on U.S. currency — a first for a sitting president — just as Americans are using cash less than ever.

Any business that refuses to accept cash with Trump's name on it will immediately gain me as a lifelong customer. www.axios.com/2026/03/27/t...

Fair.

I'm okay with this, and I was not okay with bailing out the banks. (I gritted my teeth because, in theory, the alternative was a Great Depression, but in retrospect, I doubt we were facing that kind of cliff.)

If your family is like mine, there are people close to you who are a bit simple, and I could probably con them into signing some part of their lives or their bank accounts away.

If I did so, would they be more to blame than I? You seem to be arguing that they would be.

And to Tom's point, we should have known better. We wanted what we wanted, even when we couldn't afford it. Politicians used our wants to elevate themselves at our expense. All true. We're arguing about pie slices. I think corporate America's slice should be bigger. That's it. No one is blameless.

This sounds like Iran-Contra. "Mistakes were made" and all that. It wasn't "people" who created the bad loans. We could get much more specific about it if we wanted to. When working-class people do dirt, we name them. I hope I am one day rich enough to become "people" and therefore blameless.

This is technically correct, but leaving out the predatory nature of the corporations handing out these loans is like saying Joe Camel and millions of ad campaigns like it had nothing to do with kids taking up smoking. If we're going to assign responsibility, let's make sure everyone gets a taste.

Given the tight limits and absurd food eligibility rules, I can assure him that SNAP users absolutely 'know how money works at the grocery store," and I'd also bet Husted couldn't give you the price of milk within 5 dollars if you held a gun to his head
