Seems like has been very little coverage of protests happening in the U.S.--not necessarily an intentional media blackout (although possibly), but the result of a longstanding stance in legacy media that protests aren't worth covering, activists aren't credible sources (but somehow CEOs are), etc.

The 'private prisons,' or cages, at the boarder were overseen by private firms, Trump friends. Toddlers were ignored, did not learn to speak. A horrible crime against humanity. Now asylum seekers will be placed in cheaply run, for profit prisons. And they are NEEDED.
An edited image of former President Donald Trump smiling in front of a background featuring U.S. $100 bills. The image includes a Fox News logo in the top right corner and text that reads: "A new proposal would make President Trump the first and only living current or former president to be featured on U.S. currency." The Fox News handle "@foxnews" is displayed at the bottom.
Living presidents shouldn’t be on currency.

The Indigenous People of North America have decided to go back to calling the Gulf of Mexico, “Chalchiuhtlicueyecatl”. It is what the Nahuatl People originally called it as it is the domain of the goddess Chalchiuhtlicue, who is assoc w/water bodies, including the Gulf of Mexico.

To be disabled is to have to spend ridiculous amounts of money on things we need to survive when stuck in a system that keeps us in poverty. Being forced into poverty and pushed out of Medicaid will make it so that many of us will die. The system isn’t broken, it’s working as designed.

Hey, artists, in case you were wondering if your work matters: I'm a scientist working on climate change and biodiversity, and I would not be who I am today without The Lorax, The Secret of NIMH, Watership Down, The Last Unicorn, and The X-Files. I know I'm not alone. Thank you for all you do.

Smaller cities and suburbs could easily enable active transportation with a few simple design changes. It doesn’t take much to empower people to run local errands without a car, but it takes intention to prioritize something other than driving.
and since I’m in a complaining mode: the inaccessibility in this city this winter has been truly abhorrent. I’m so tired of the car-centricity here. the snow plowing blocking sidewalk access. The ice patches. Not everyone here drives and even those who do often don’t daily. clear sidewalks.
This tells us pretty much everything we need to know about the US position
If Doge is saving so much money, wouldn't it make more sense to increase Medicaid, a program that increases American productivity? #Disability
