Pragmata is SOLID.
Didn't change my life or anything, but every gameplay mechanic is rock solid satisfying. A well paced, well designed adventure that hooked me through a reasonable runtime. Just old fashioned fun + endearing characters.
...I actually liked the robot kid? GG Capcom

a picture of two men sitting on a couch and a woman sitting on a chair next to them. The woman and one of the men are holding microphones and the other man is talking into a large wooden spoon.
Watching the latest @friendspersecond.bsky.social podcast and @jakebaldino.com is talking into a wooden spoon.
you already know it's the goddamn Leon S Kennedy show.
RE9 Requiem feels designed in a lab specifically for people who discovered the franchise with RE4.
Resident Evil Requiem is a HELL of a ride. Hybrid new vs old gameplay is brilliantly executed & fun.
It re-uses some stuff from previous games and I wish it did more story-wise w/ Raccoon
It goes nostalgia BANANAS. I was mashing the screenshot button. Loved it! Avoid spoilers!
I KNOW!!! gah
always be sure to take breaks when shoveling snow
I've played 3hrs of Resident Evil 9. Good survival horror w/ Grace, nice evolution of RE4 w/ Leon.
Zombies are surprisingly unique/weird, making an almost Bioshock-like sandbox ecosystem while you explore.
GREAT gore, cool lore implications too

my Spotify wrapped:
the other day I asked my smart speaker to play "relaxing 1940's music" and it proceeded to play a bunch of fake made up AI songs that pissed me off.
If I wasn't familiar with 40's music/genre, I would've been none the wiser and just ended up listening to AI music. Come onn

Gamer parents, @jakebaldino.com has a important message for you!
that was really gory huh
You'll need to do new game+ in SHf to get everything out of it. That's all I'll say. Best to go in blind.
I was skeptical but it's a story that still feels distinctly Silent Hill
Silent Hill f- mostly straightforward survival horror with iffy combat that hooked me with the art, mood, strange moments, and great storytelling. That's SH in a nutshell right there lol I think hardcore SH fans will appreciate it.

samus on a cool motorcycle... it just makes sense, man.
why have I never even imagined something like this?
Ever since I saw the German show 'Dark' I've been looking for something that captures that same feeling of dread, mystery, atmosphere.
Hell is Us comes damn close. It hits you like the first time you wander into the village in RE4. it's a tough game but best to go in blind.
Sorry can only fit so much in social post.
Starts strong but quickly becomes repetitive and less challenging, with not enough variation to keep it interesting
Hell is Us! Combat is disappointing but the puzzles, exploration, discovery, & overall atmosphere more than make up for it.
A 3rdperson action adventure that just drops you into a world and says "idk, you'll figure it out."
You certainly need to be in the right mood for it, but I loved it! ART.
