It’s official!
@bertacava26.bsky.social has received a Marie Skłodowska-Curie European Postdoctoral Fellowship 🚀🚀🚀
She will study proteostasis during embryo dormancy @babrahaminst.bsky.social
Very well deserved. proud of this achievement & excited for the discoveries ahead 🐭⌛️
💃🏼💃🏼💃🏼olé!
Well deserved
I really appreciate this discussion! Teaching at all levels needs this discussion right now.

Well deserved!!!! Congrats 🍾🍾
Honoured and overwhelmed to receive the 2026 Waddington Medal. Science is a team effort, and I've been fortunate to work alongside exceptional people asking hard questions. Thank you to the BSDB and to everyone who has been part of the journey.

Aging may feel gradual… but what if it’s not?
In our recent paper, we tracked fish continuously from puberty until death.
This gave us a unique view of how aging unfolds across the adult lifespan.

What a great conference! Thanks to the German, Dutch and Spanish dev bio societies for arranging such an inspiring and inclusive meeting.
Happy to have met new colleagues and good old friends from my PhD times.
@pauligroup.bsky.social :)
Great visit from Andi Pauli @pauligroup.bsky.social to the lab @babrahaminst.bsky.social on Friday — thoughtful feedback, fun discussions, and such a supportive visit.
Perfect timing ahead of International Women’s Day 🔬👩🔬
🔥🔥🔥🔥Congrats!!
Tough question to pursue and cool answers :)
Do you want to pursue your ideas in computational biology independently, running your group in @embl.org‘s uniquely collaborative environment, beside world’s most comprehensive biomolecular data resources @ebi.embl.org in Genome Campus next to @sangerinstitute.bsky.social?

Science happened…
More productive & fun than ever.
Huge thanks to the amazing lab members who make it all possible!!

Our latest cotranslational folding story is now published @cp-molcell.bsky.social. Really cool (I think) new ideas about how exactly the ribosome directs folding and assembly to make sure complicated proteins mature efficiently in cells.

Congrats!! To many many more 🥂
Looking forward to this meeting.
Early bird registration encouraged!!
Spanish EvoDevo at its best. Congrats to the team on this cool work 🥂🍾

I think the latest cover helps to remind us that Development is not just a faceless brand of a journal eager to line shareholder pockets - it's a group of people who share a love for #devbio and, in my experience, really are trying to do their best for their community.

A substantial proportion of people with archaic TKTL1 had college/university degrees, arguing against big impacts on cognition. The results show that the sometimes dramatic effects seen in lab-based experiments on evolutionary variants may not be a guide to real-world impacts in living humans. 11/n
Amazing!!!! Well deserved, congrats 🎉
I’m a big fan of your work 🤓
It's always special when you find your own paper in the table of contents of the journal 😍
