Congrats on “opening” a strait that was open six weeks ago, and all it cost was at least 13 dead service members, thousands of dead Iranian civilians, tens of billions in taxpayer dollars, our loss in global standing, and the Iranian regime’s increase in power. Phenomenal work.

Today, April 13th in 2019, at Star Wars Celebration: Chicago, in a mockup of the Millennium Falcon, dressed as a bounty hunter and a wookie I asked the love of my life to marry me. He said yes.
I was referring to this bit here which looks like either two paws lined up in a row or one weird long mega paw.
Even if it’s only 3 paws down there, I’m struggling to visualize how the dog could have one paw hanging over the arm while all three other paws are bunched up together down there.

"We must become less reliant on American tools and regain control of our digital destiny. We can no longer accept that our data, our infrastructure, our strategic decisions depend on solutions whose rules, pricing, evolution, and risks we do not control."
i‘m such a low-detail woman clutching bread today it’s insane

When he put “progressive” in quotes he meant they label themselves that way but are not truly progressive.

Look at the women at NASA.
They are the ones pushing the boundaries of science, solving problems most people can’t even understand, and carrying this country forward, while our politicians right now posture and stumble through talking points.
And they are doing it all with joy.👇
It’s pretty fucked up that the Nintendo Switch gave all the old games a rewind feature so people can just do that every time they mess up instead of doing what we did which is stop enjoying the game
AI (five paws)

My dad to the dog while making a snack, “I know you're excited, so am I. But there is no need to bark. I'm not barking. No one else here is barking”
FBI agent Denise played by David Duchovny and Dale Cooper, played by Kyle Maclachlan, Twin Peaks 1990
David Duchovny played a transgender woman, Denise, on Twin Peaks in 1990 and when greeting Cooper, the show's protagonist, she says, "I prefer Denise, if you don't mind" and Cooper responds with "OK" and her identity is settled within a couple seconds and was a non-issue, 36 years ago.

“Compared with non-active travelers, the cyclists had a 19% lower risk of all-cause dementia, a 22% lower risk of Alzheimer's, a 40% lower risk of young-onset dementia (before the age of 65), & a 17% lower risk of late-onset dementia.”
