He's basically a simpleton like Trump and just look at how that's working out for the US.

Peoilievre hides behind the term 'conservative' much like the IDU hides behind the term 'democracy' in their title.
Let's not forget that Poilievre is a member of the IDU, as is Trump.
I like the fact that Carney is a centrist. By rights, if you think about it, his policies should contain points that appeal to both sides, but
Poilievre has his supporters convinced that anything that doesn't come from him is too toxic and too "woke."
Right! And Poilievre is losing even more support, so more conservatives are waking up to the truth.
I'd go with all of the above, and there's also the fear of going to prison.
