Start building pumped hydro, projects take several years.
Wait for sodium & solid state battery tech, it seems only 2 to 3 years away.
Wind & solar are mature technologies now. Given an appropriate location there’s no reason not to build.
Batteries - We’re still waiting on solid state & sodium tech to address cost & explosive risk.

Only Germany in Europe has much Battery storage. Scandinavia seems to be progressing well without it.
