Tested my cedar, sandalwood, and cassia powders, and my dried rosemary and osmanthus. I'm pleased with the results.

I went to a “boutique” candle store to see what they were doing. The main difference between what I’m doing with my craft and that? The labels look better. I’m not made for business and even *I* can see that they are ripping (apparently willing) people completely the fuck off.

Just remembered that I can also use my wax melter like a diffuser to release the fragrance of some of my oil blends.

Calling these blends "anointing" or "cuticle" oils doesn't seem to have traction, but maybe if folks realize they can be used simply as "aromatherapy," there will be more interest?

You're right there! I didn't think about sealing them with wax (which is very funny of course, since I'm always working with it 😝).

What should I do with these? Someone saw these 1-ounce glass bottles and thought of me. I love them! But I don't know what I should put in them. The cork toppers will not really secure anything inside the bottle, unless it's sitting still. Open to suggestions.

While I'm talking scent-craft, I will confess that the personal rollerball I just made (vetiver + oud, with cedar and leather notes) is absolutely top-tier. Beautiful marriage of intent and medium.

Been meaning to make a new room spray for a while. The one I just did in cedar wood, amber, and myrrh has a really good profile at mix. It usually takes a couple of days for them to smell this good.
