re4 is my 'game EVERYONE should play' because of the reasons mentioned at the top of the thread. a genuine 10/10 masterpiece that's somehow aged perfectly despite its moderate jank and occasionally terrible dialogue

rust is 'overhated' because at its core, it is a pretty smoothly designed survival game with a lot of interesting mechanics and emergent gameplay. most of the complaints about rust are about rust's community who are usually min-maxing their gameplay and their racism at the same time
