Hopefully you get some more chances soon! I still have a couple weeks before things pop off here

Theyre adorable :0 also somewhat of a goal species for me this year alongside worm-eating (theyre both fairly sparse in MA)
This is an indigo bunting! A pretty blue american migrant species related to cardinals and grosbeaks. The birds in op’s photo appear to be grandala, a very vibrant asian species of thrush :)
No problem, and good luck with the recovery process!
Theyre confusing! At least its a pleasant surprise :)
First one is a pine warbler right?
Dang! Those sorts of days are always the best (most tiring)
WAIT REALLY WAHOOOOOOO
Its a common joke but I swear my brain thinks this is true and it’s probably why I’m so hooked on birds
From the archives for #SmallBirdSaturday hosted by Jane @javajanegallery.co.uk, a once-in-a-lifetime capture for me! 5 Swallows of 4 different types, 2 Barn, 1 Violet-Green, 1 Tree, and 1 Northern Rough-winged!

Man there was some part of me that was like “well the Gulf is pretty big so maybe Rice’s whale can skate by until new protections can be made” but I saw the core range map on their wikipedia and by god that does not look good for them 😭 so messed up
A female tree swallow in flight looking at the camera like I'm the problem. Which. Fair
WOW best Orange County swallow session of my life so far today!
Perfect light.
Perfect wind.
Perfect flight patterns.
Over 3000 shots in a half hour, and several close range videos.
Can't wait to review at home someday! 🪶
Might be the best tree swallow shot I’ve ever seen, wow
Texas drivers genuinely are insane. Had to drive there for like a week and nearly lost my life multiple times 😭 i will admit it has some beautiful ecosystems tho
For u in florida the expected chickadee is the Carolina chickadee (which is nearly identical to black capped lol). Very cute :0 hope u can see fledglings eventually
Absolutely tiny Yellow-throated Warbler (Setophaga dominica), a mostly gray and white bird with fun facial patterning and a yellow throat, sitting on a pine tree next to a pinecone. The photo deceives you by making you think this bird is capable of sitting still.
Saw one of these tiny babies last month :) love them
I love their funny buzzy noises. Little molecules vibrating in the woods
Sometimes it is the not noticing of the menus that mean its well-crafted (but I am sure all of the work will be noticed nonetheless). Unless you mean like emily specifically in which case ill whisper subliminal messaging in her ear to clue her in 🤔
Hope it all goes smoothly! (Or as much as it can, at least)
They always look a little upset in photos that someone managed to catch them haha, so cute though
A Clapper Rail caught in the open, unusual for the species. Almost looking a small chicken with a long thin bill. It is mostly pale gray save for orange-red on the bill. Its flanks are vertically streaked with white.
Just got lucky looks at one of these this week in Mass! Was shocked to see one this late in the year (cryptid photo my friend took)
When i first saw this post i had wondered where you might be where these would both be vagrants, because Swainson’s has a wide distribution. But ireland! Wow! Congrats on the rarity :0
Whoops just read your other comment haha question answered
Clay-colored sparrow? (Theyre rare here so its good practice for my id-ing, nice photo!)
I think i know which place you mean haha, they get so upset! Very cute though
Ill try my best to ship one your way, probably 10k of them chipping like mad at the refuge i work at 😭
I am not even a big moxie fan but i have been to moxiefest and i have a shirt
yesss greg my beloved
Body still seems too gray/light for eclipse male pintail imo. Id second eclipse redhead even if it still looks a little wonky?
