Here's an itty bitty green unicorn for Whimsical Horse Wednesday, which is also Earth Day today ๐ŸŒŽ

Raul and I wandered around the consignment shop today. There was a decent number of horse shaped objects this time. I got this little project for 55 cents.

They don't hate you, they're just giving you space.

Maybe the stranger passes a lot of barkers and your dog was a breath of fresh air!

But does it scream at people? The bar is pretty low these days..

A soft cloth does tend to work better. I think the makeup brush likes to hold onto dust and then re-deposit it even after I try to tap it all out

Set up the light box and photographed 25 model horses, ended up being 168 photos to go through to pick the best.

Still have some more Breyers to photo. The limit is 60 entries and I hope to get close to that number.

The Breyer Boot Camp photo show opens for photo uploads today (I think). Who's showing?? I've uploaded some of my show string to OMHPS and will be taking some more photos today. I've never done a Breyer show.

Along with the cardio regimen that took up so much of my free time, physical, and mental energy.

And I still enjoy food! Not all the same types of food, I'm a bit more picky these days, but when it hits the spot, it really hits the spot. I know what being truly satiated feels like now.

As an aside, I have to say I'm very happy overall to have been able to lose weight and reach some strength goals without having to make weightloss almost my entire personality like I had to before. White-knuckling my way through constant hunger and obsessively counting calories every day sucked.

I know the issues with BMI but I don't think the upper limit of the healthy range is unreasonable for me and I would, just once in my adult life, like to experience that.

Found the sweet spot in my semaglutide dosage and have been able to eat reasonable amounts of food again thank dog.

Also,
54.9lbs down from when I started the med
83.7lbs down from my all time highest weight

Less than 13lbs left to be in the "healthy" BMI range

And here's Cloud for PaloMonday.

Yes, he's a palomino! A very light one!

Search for Cloud the horse or Cloud the mustang or The Cloud Foundation to see photos of the real horse and learn more about him

I gave her a gentle bath with dish soap and a microfiber cloth and some of the dinginess seems to have cleaned right off

If fresh air doesn't clear it, I'll seal her up in a bag with baking soda. If that doesn't work, I'll probably have to strip her paint off and turn her into something else. Maybe a blue unicorn. But hopefully it won't come to that!

Got this Breyer Weather Girl that was customized to a fleabitten grey for cheap off ebay with the intention to restore her. It'd be a shame to lose that lovely shading on her face. Opened the box and she is STINKY. Leaving her outside to see if that helps.

Try the original House on Haunted Hill (1959) maybe? Or movies that aren't horror but have some unsettling scenes. Secret of Nimh springs to mind. The thriller genre might also be a way to work yourself up to horror.
