Dang. Don't let the rejections get to you. It's no reflection on your story or your writing. Editors/agents chase market trends these days. Years ago, they were a lot more open to taking chances. Not so much today. Keep at it, because trends change!

I'm a bit surprised to hear some folks claiming Dems will "never" do any of this. Dems have already impeached Trump twice, have made multiple criminal referrals, and are currently setting up a 25A commission. And House Dems have already introduced DOJ independence reforms that are quite good.
