We had a lovely time in Haworth (Thank you for all your tips on what to visit). What an atmospheric place - even in grey wet weather! I really enjoyed visiting the parsonage (it must get SO busy in summer!) and the tiny gift shops and cafes. I’m hoping to go back and fit in a walk on the moors.

my five star book review is below This is a super tense storyline By C J Sansom where its main characters of Matthew Shardlake and Barak traverse the streets of London. They skirt with danger and death at every turn as they track down the mystery surrounding the recent rediscovery of a lost ancient weapon Dark Fire. Can Matthew also help to prove that Elizabeth is innocent of murder as time starts to run out.

This is the second #Book in the series and it had me gripped throughout.

What an interesting book, looking at crafts that have diminished but still continue in small pockets - dry stone walling, thatching, bell making, compering, making fish baskets of rush, carving/lettering, watxhmaking and many more. So many skills it takes years to learn and perfect. Quite calming.
