Went to Boskone instead of Katsucon, came home with a stack of new books to read plus this tote bag. Truly a 10/10 composition, including the comic sans, and I WILL be bringing it to C2E2 to carry the books I’m certain to acquire there.
Week two of working on #Arcane season 1 #Viktor, and I’ve finished all the vest trim minus the hems and collar. I’ll be taking a break this week as I’m at Boskone this weekend and to get more work done on Firesong before the Central Crown finals at #C2E2!

I designed this to be a combo of piecing and appliqué and two layered trims to evoke the beautiful mesh of sci-fi/fantasy in the show’s costume design

Trying to remember to post things on Bluesky. Anyway, I debuted my second version of Firesong at Arisia last weekend as my stage cosplay while judging their cosplay contest. This was a proof-of-concept of the new competition mask I’m making for competition at C2E2 in a few months. More on it later.
#Raistlin passed through the gates without a glance at the hand or the pale visage that was lowered in reverence. As he entered, all the black and shapeless, dark and shadowy things dwelling within the Tower bowed in homage.

Slow progress over the last few days to clean up the main room of my apartment that is also my costuming work space. I am no longer convinced that he who dies with the most fabric wins.
One week of beading on my #MercedesLackey #Firesong surcoat done, left front and most of the upper back complete. He’s worth it.
