“The Keeper,” Tana French’s latest book and the third in the Cal Hooper series, came out yesterday, the same day I finished Richard K. Morgan’s “No Man’s Land.” What a great time for book reading! I’m so happy we still have authentic, human voices out there.
Although mentioned in the newsletter, here’s the link to a Dystopian SciFi Giveaway.

The newsletter talks about a Kobo Plus fantasy promotion. Kobo Plus is like Kindle Unlimited but without the Amazon taint. Give it a look!

Joe Hill has presented something original and dark with KING SORROW, and as he often does, there’s a definite kick in the feels that is likely to take away your breath, even if you see it coming. That’s sort of his signature.
Grab a copy and judge for yourself!
I put KING SORROW somewhere between NOS4A2 and HEART-SHAPED BOX, the latter of which might still be my favorite from the author. If you like creative, dark contemporary fantasy with elements of horror, you cannot go wrong with any of those three books.
It blows my mind to see a sale like this, but here you go. Joe Hill’s King Sorrow (released in October this year) audiobook is $3.99 on Apple Books.

A novel: The Buffalo Hunter Hunter, by Stephen Graham Jones.
Finished up this just now. Once I got about 1/3 through I couldn't set it down. Some of the creepiest body horror, vampire horror I've ever read. The historical context adds a thick layer of sadness for everything that has gone before. I'll have nightmares about prairie dogs and big fish tonite.
For those celebrating Thanksgiving, here’s wishing you and yours the very best, whether at home or abroad!
November 2025 newsletter. TL;DR I finally found the solution to my computer woes and have a new hard drive on order. Also, a “Gone for the Holidays” giveaway! mailchi.mp/p-r-adams/p-...
October 2025 newsletter.
TL;DR, Fallen Prince (book 2 of the Reekan's Blade sword & sorcery series) is available at most retail stores!

I’m not sure what will conclude the month.
And of course, Richard Matheson’s Hell House (first the book, then the movie) will be part of the mix.
I’ll be picking up a new Stephen King audiobook this year, although I haven’t settled on one yet. I may also listen to “Salem’s Lot” again, perhaps my favorite of his pure horror works. “The Dead Zone” is probably my favorite of his horror-adjacent books.
It’s that time of year, with ghosts snd goblins and every manner of other horror.
This year, I started reading a little early, working through Laird Barron’s amazing anthologies.
Next comes Stephen Graham Jones’s Indian Lake Trilogy. Cara Gee’s narration on “My Heart Is A Chainsaw” is perfect.
This is the Kobo Plus link. Kobo is an international book retailer. Kobo Plus is their subscription service. Unlimited access to their vast catalog of ebooks for a reasonable price, and the publishers don't have to enter into an egregious exclusivity agreement.

September 2025 newsletter! TL;DR, a Kobo Plus promotion (I'll post a link), updates on my Rekaan's Blade series (waiting on book 2 from the editor) and on The Chronicle of the Final Light (delays, mostly beyond my control).

Fingers crossed!
Definitely!
However, I’d recommend checking to see if Google takes books from aggregators. You’re probably best off simply applying directly.
Google is an odd one. I’ve heard plenty of folks griping that they can’t get onto the platform, but I lucked into it. They announced they were re-opening it for authors, I submitted, and I got in on my first try. It has been my #1 or #2 store for the last few years.
