I was today years old when I found out that the singular of Nephilim is Nephil/Nephal.
If only I knew this before publishing two books that feature types of Nephilim in it, not to mention a bunch of stuff on my lore library. Whoops!
What is the hardest thing for a person to do?
The answer: Admit when they were wrong.
There's entire cultural movements that exist just cause people don't want to admit they're wrong/got conned. When certain people validate/enable it, they're trained to ignore reality.
We all suffer for it.
They are humans whose souls have merged with Shards of their fallen God. Basically magical demigods. They are usually tall and fair, live longer(milage varies on how much) and most are prolific spellcasters and spiritual leaders. They can't have children and the Shard detaches upon their death.
