Quality looks good to me, nice and crisp. Sometimes videos automatically adjust quality for connection speed - If your connection is struggling or you're downloading, it could affect how the video displays for you. But rest assured, I saw the details on my end and it looks great!

I hope it's ok I posted this here. I'm just trying to 'walk the walk' because in my life, I've been very verbally political but never took action. I think now's the time.

50501 50 PROTESTS - 50 STATES - 1 DAY #50501 - 2/5/25 - YOUR STATE CAPITOL Can't Travel? Your Country Still Needs You! Participate Wherever You Are; Check the Community Highlights for Info!

Hey Tech Connect. Big fan here. I wanted to bring visibility to planned peaceful demonstrations against these executive actions in each state's capitol. They're called the 50501 protests. Admittedly, they're kind of organized like shit, but I plan on going. www.reddit.com/r/50501/ for more info.

Already covered further down the thread. For the record, I agree with you.

Thank you for the information and correction, sincerely. I didn't know that. I will say that the list isn't comprehensive. I don't know the accuracy of all of the text dog whistles on it, but the symbols check out with other sources I've seen, though I know for a fact there are more out there.

I recently watched it for the first time too and had the SAME THOUGHT.

I plan on putting together a pamphlet on identifying nazis to leave around. They're getting bolder.

List of symbols designated by the Anti-Defamation League as hate symbols - Wikipedia

They've a lot of symbols and always co-opt more. This wikipedia page has a list of symbols to keep an eye out for on people to identify shit heads. Obviously, don't browse at work or in public en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of...

That might not even be enough though. It's theorized tracking could exist through variations in laser intensity in general, so shades of gray in text resulting in encoding the printer's serial number. Ideally, any pamphlet should be mechanically printed with stamps, screen printing, or print press.

... printing on one of the listed printers on that site. I also wouldn't print from a library if possible. Be smart in your activism, and best of luck.

... printing from, every print job is logged. I'm not an expert in this realm, but I did want to bring this to the greater communities attention. I've not read anything about tracking on black and white printers. If I were to distribute leaflets or what-have you, I'd use B&W printing and avoid...

Many, if not all modern color printers use forensic dots to track what printer an item was printed on. If you are distributing sensitive information that is righteous but could get you in trouble with the current administration, keep this in mind. Some of these tracking methods don't even use...

I'm going to get a little political; if you followed for other reasons or to get away from politics for a while, please accept my apologies.

This is a quick informational thread regarding printer technology and distributing activist pamphlets in the current political climate ๐Ÿงต

I'm starting to half joke to myself about buying an encyclopedia set like they used to sell door to door back in "the day"

Stop virtue signalling and do your job. Get off your toilet bluesky session and do something.

If I could afford my own set, I'd be a rivet counter... on my own set. Everyone else should manifest their own vision of what they want. Crazy that people nitpick like that. At the end of the day, a model railroad is an artform, and art is specific to the artist.

This is gorgeous. Big fan of the stippling, it gives the skull and crown such nice texture. 11/10, would have you tattoo me.

Not feeling super inspired nor motivated today, but at least I put pen to paper. This is what I could muster.

Never stop #drawing 2015-2024

The left is one of the first things I ever made after getting my first dip-pen. The right was made last year with a liner brush.

A black and white illustration of a strange creature, mostly composed of massive eye. The eye's pupil is toad-like but vertical. Fungal-like growths emerge from the eye almost in a halo. The shading and texture is accomplished with stippling.

"Radiant". Pigma Micron pens on sketchbook paper.

This one started as a doodle, and I thought I'd try stippling. I think it turned out pretty neat.

Taking a little break from the new drawing fixation to watch Peter hash out fantastic art advice. Don't expect perfection, and just enjoy the process.

It's my favorite photo I've taken; the frost was insane that day. Wasn't sure how to capture reflections in this medium - any tips?
