Found an American mahjong set for $4. The flat tiles with captions aren't ideal but it's light and fits in my purse.

The file ended up being quite large with everything on one canvas. I've never done all 31 days before but even if it was just a stick figure or a scribble I'm glad I did it.

I love playing mahjong but I've never had the chance to try the Washizu version from Akagi. I chose the 5 man because the book the protagonist carries in V is the 5th volume of the Manyoshu. I think this would be his lucky tile.

The english release of Digital Devil Saga has a theme song called "Danger" by Etro Anime and these two were my favorite part of the first game. I used the pose from the opening theme of "Revolutionary Girl Utena" as well.
