Long division puzzle where 2025 is being divided by a two-digit divisor to get a quotient with a three-digit integer part and with one digit after the decimal point. Each multiplication step in the procedure had a two-digit result, and each subtraction left a one-digit difference [the last subtraction gave a difference of 0]

In fact, it's the Least Common Multiple of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7.

To tell if a number is divisible by 3, you can just add the digits.

2 + 4 = 6 [which is divisible by 3], so 24 is divisible by 3.
1 + 8 = 9 [which is divisible by 3], so 18 is divisible by 3 as well.
4 + 7 = 11 [which is NOT divisible by 3], so 47 is NOT divisible by 3.

While I don't really buy into numerology, there is indeed a system for that. If you start at A = 49, B = 50, C = 51, and so on up to Z = 74 then the phrase "DONALD TRUMP" would coincidentally add up to 666.

The first answer I saw was 65. However, I do admit that the other answer of 60 also makes sense and would make it much easier to find the general nth term :)
