I used the images my fellow players found for their online tokens back in April 2020 in my fanfic. I went to the trouble of trying to credit them because, at heart, I'm an academic and anything else is plagiarism. I actively reached out to anyone whose images I chose (generally for canon NPCs).

...these incredible people to make a fucking living right now. The LEAST you can do is give them credit.

Be a fucking human being, put yourself in their shoes and show some respect. Even the professional work they're not out there making a fortune. Recognition is invaluable to them.

Out of my entire friend group only ONE man cut contact with my abuser, the rest still hangs about until today. He himself even felt comfortable to message me to scold me about my perception of him. Women are forced into isolation whilst the men are literally tolerated, protected and pitied.

It’s time for men to start exposing & distancing themselves from monsters like that. I was a victim of similar SA & I had to BEG my own family members to seize contact with my abuser & mind you I was VERY open about what happened & still.
