Reform UK claims to want efficiency in local government is catastrophically wasteful. Not surprising at all!!

'Lost and found ' - a poem about my grief and mental health journey since January last year.

Some of you who have lost a loved one may recognise some of this.

I know it's good to talk about mental health, but sometimes I don't want to share everything to everyone.

This poem - one of my latest that'll go into my book - is all about moments like this.

I hope so too. I'm doing my best.

As for your cancer treatment, I hope it works for you and you come out the other end of it cancer free. 🙂

National Council for the Training of Journalists The NCTJ’s leadership programme is created by journalists for journalists, taking widely-used leadership principles and theory and applying them to an editorial or content-driven environment.

If I wanted to become a professional investigative journalist, are their qualifications worth it?

Canterbury slam poet wins second place in European contest Sven Stears wins second place in the European Championships of Slam Poetry, held in Slovakia.

What other competitions (e.g. regional and national) do you have to enter to get to things like this?

No info in the article and genuinely thinking about having a go.

The fact that he doesn't have to worry about electability means he will just go to even more of an extreme before.

Basically he's that older guy who's reached an age where he just doesn't care anymore and does (and says) what he wants.

I also have a long term and deeply personal creative writing project that I've been working on that's been taking up my time. It has done wonders for my mental health.

I will reveal more eventually.

I have a part-done article on honour killings that I will complete eventually, but with everything that's happened to me this year it's taking some time.

Please bear with me.

I think the only times I'd really venture onto X is to share anything about work I want to publicise because, despite all the problems with X, it still has a large user base.

1 year ago 1 0 0 0

I've spent some time evaluating my social media use.

I don't really use Twitter/X in a personal capacity anymore. I tend to use Threads and Instagram for that. Musk's recent activity doesn't make me want to go back.

BlueSky will be used more for my writing - e.g. articles and poetry.

My latest article following on from a recent claim from the Chair of NatWest that it's not difficult to buy a home.

It's so incredibly out of touch and deserved a response.

I've been attempting to pitch an idea for a book about rough sleeping to literary agents.

It's a subject I've written about before and one that I care about greatly.

If any literary agents see this message and you're interested, please get in contact. Looking forward to hearing from you.
