So I hear!

Yeah they decided on this really unusual strategy of making Broadway the first stop on a tour. Which is either genius or madness, depending on whether you’re the producers or the out of town venues.
It's a limited run. Did they already announce an early close on top of that? I haven't seen that.
Big interesting interview with Alex
Bores on @ezrakleinbot.bsky.social today.
Every debate that I’ve gone to, I’m struck by how often other candidates end up supporting things Bores has to say.
This week in the Wow: Pushing back on criticism of Pitt fans; feeling kinda sad about the state of Marvel Comics; the worst version of the Neverending Story continues; and dreams of Jon Hamm in grandma sweaters!
All free and almost entirely wacky.
Here for the escalation.
I don’t want to live in a world where this isn’t possible.
Also, now I want you and David M. to do a Shang Chi vs Gambit mini. Thanks for that.
This skeet sponsored by everyone who has ever had to deal with the guy currently sitting next to me.
I don’t understand people who feel the need to touch you over and over in order to have a conversation. You are definitely not winning me over by low key harassing me.

There is only one person who can get Bluesky working again.

Praying for you in this difficult time

I love that these images can be reversed and it still works.
I knew this would hurt me and still I read it to the end.
Also, attacking foreign countries is not domestic policy.
We can only hope
I have been there. Hope you can take the time to recharge.
JD Vance is basically Catholic drag. Highly performative about his faith, but objectively silly.
This might be a little too inside baseball for some, but I really loved hearing how Leo raised up the people of Algeria as an example of the quest for peace and reconciliation.
I also really appreciate this for the lesson it offers about being professional. You will never get people interested in your projects by complaining that they didn’t review you.
I read this thread and just feel the poverty of artistic ecosystems. There’s all this creativity—both in terms of the creators and the critics— that needs nourishing, deserves nourishing. And it’s just not there. And so we end up turning on each other a bit.
Last night the U.S president ranted about Pope Leo. (Also priests saying Mass during Covid and David Axelrod.)
Various prominent Catholics have condemned the president. But what's really interesting is what the Pope is doing instead.
Maybe mutants are just symbiotes?
Are symbiotes the only thing making money at Marvel at this point? Honestly trying to make sense of their publication choices.
