Loved End of an Error. I'd given up hope on ever receiving this after all the Unbound shenanigans so it was a real surprise and very welcome. Congratulations on a brilliant finish to the trilogy.

I have been neglecting this platform. Sorry, Blueskyers! One reason is because I've started a Substack account, writing longer pieces about my books and the inspiration behind them. If you'd like to take a look, here's the link! substack.com/@kathmcgurl

The semi-tame pigeon i feed, came up to the patio door and peered in, wanting his breakfast.

Not just scripts. Happens to us novelists too. All. The. Time.

The Unbound scandal keeps getting worse…

Now I've read the whole thread. Unbound/Boundless are shameful. Crowdfunding, but all the money going to them and not the creator. Are you a member of the Society of Authors? Is there anything they can do to help?

Oh God. This is because of Unbound going under, isn't it? They're not all like that. Don't give up writing. I love your books, have supported you from the start, and will read anything you publish, however you publish it.

I love the sound wood pigeons make!

Yes, the ones in our garden nest in trees. Honestly, breathe too near them and the nest will collapse. I like pigeons. Our local pair are the nearest I have to pets these days.

So cute! And what makes it even cuter is that pigeons are notoriously bad at making nests.

I am terrified of them.
But I like bees.

Take one or two paperbacks along with your kindle. Maximum choice of both book and format.

Makes me think of the Two Ronnies "Four Candles" sketch. "Got any 'ose?"

Yes! I like this place, and Threads. I've left Twitter completely.

Hopefully that'll teach Starmer that sucking up to the playground bully doesn't work in thr long run

Of course I had to zoom in and check out the titles!

Unsolicited writing advice, no. 1837:
Starting to write is like starting to run. It helps to get into a routine. Little and often is easier than trying to do hours at once, and small, manageable goals are easier to achieve - and therefore more motivating - than trying to imagine the finished work.

Today I made significant progress on a tricky set of edits, AND I went for a run.
Today has been a good day.

Fantastic museum! The 3d diving bit was really well done for adults and kids alike.

If it's heavy, that can unbalance the machine. Oddly it's better to put more in so the weight is more spread out.

When ours does that it's because it's unbalanced and can't go into its fast spin routine. Happens if I try to wash 3 bath mats at once.

This morning I'm watching my UK pension fund wither and wondering when America is going to wake up, smell the coffee, and stop Trump. He's making us all poorer.
