The cleverest designs are often those that look most effortless. This 1913 gown by Lucile and worn by Heather Firbank appears to be a twist of ivory silk caught in folds by a high sash of black velvet. Of course the reality is so much more complex #V&A #FashionHistory 🗃️🪡

I wanted to make her protective against fire at first view but be wary of her dagger !

I’ve not seen Princess Zelda look so…unsure of herself. Several of her ancestors are here, and yet… she seems so discouraged. She looks so much like them, too. The pressure she must feel to do a good job at ruling the Kingdom must be tenfold, now.

Chandelure's costume features ombre white to purple sleeves and dark boning over white fabric. Pumpkaboo has a voluminous orange skirt under a fitted corset with petal details. Duskull wears black leather armour under sheer grey sleeves and skirts.
