I want three movies and an animated series right now.
Poster for the Miami Vice movie from 2006 with Colin Farrell and Jamie Foxx
If by "a few years ago" you mean 2006 then yeah...
Gutted by the loss of Sam Kieth. Paramount needs to get their shit together and put The Maxx out on Blu-ray and streaming. I wore out my VHS copy ages ago.
Walking out of the theater after seeing The Matrix *was* really fucking cool. I knew nothing about it, I just randomly decided to go to the theater one night and it had just come out. I had no hype, no trailers, no nothing. It was amazing.
Had that dumbass babyfur outfit packed, too.
I was a fan of Archie books as a kid. I saw these... things for sale in a tiny book store attached to a church and got excited until I realized the content. Not for nothing, but I seem to recall this art was also used in non-evangelical Archie books.
Black and white image of early morning snow falling. There are two trees, a dilapidated fence partially covered in snow, and a very bright street light causing lens flare in the upper right corner.
It's not my best work, but the ground was slippery and I had a dog attached to my other wrist so you're all gonna be nice about it anyway.
The TV movie six years later was also... not good.
My friends, I present to you, my boy Nemo.
Man, that's cold.
Not your tempo?
I had that book, it's a damn good read.
I worked at a porn store that was open 24/7 and *loved* picking up 12 hour shifts at time and a half on holidays. It was either dead and I got paid for doing nothing, or it was so busy the shift went by fast and I barely noticed.
That all depends on whether or not I can pet the dog.
Trump doesn't read, and he certainly doesn't read comic books, so I doubt he knows about the character. Not that it makes it any better or less cringe, but Nuke is fairly obscure.
Head of the Class just wasn't the same without him. No disrespect to Billy Connolly but I remember being livid, like "Who the Hell is this guy?" Keep in mind I was like... 10 years old at the time.
Text reads "Voter. Listener. Believer in democracy. It's not about left vs. right - it's about right vs. wrong. Support climate action, voting rights, healthcare for all
Be on the lookout for bots in your followers. I had two accounts with this same bio text verbatim follow me. They've since been blocked.
Cover to Turmoil in the Toybox by Phil Phillips. Obvious "copyright free" versions of He-Man, Cabbage Patch Kids, Barbie, and other 80s-era characters are shown.
If you want to re-live some childhood trauma, see if you can find a cheap copy of Turmoil on the Toy Box.
I don't even *do* Twitch and I'd sign up just for that.
Matt Groening's 1996 Life in Hell cartoon. A cartoon rabbit is cringing while a word balloon from somone off panel says, "By being the same as r Republicans, we can defeat the Republicans."
Nah, there's a new one that just came out this year.
