There’s nothing worse than a bad audiobook narrator for a book you were excited about. Sometimes I just can’t power through—I have to turn it off and buy the print copy. A bad narrator can ruin a great book.

Happy National Read A Book Day! What is everyone reading?
More & more editors have been asking for horror manuscripts. I noticed last week that the horror section in my local Barnes & Noble has doubled in size! I’m here for it! I’m currently reading The Reformatory by @tananarivedue.bsky.social It’s so good! What other horror books should I read?
I took a hiatus from social media, but I’m going to make an effort to return with helpful content for writers.
I find it interesting that in Taylor Swift’s engagement announcement she refered to herself as an English teacher and not a music teacher. That tells me that she considers herself a writer more than a singer. I love that!
It works. I had to use it on my dog when she found a large bone on the street and tried to swallow it so I couldn’t grab it out of her mouth. I did this and it shot right out. I was shaking, but she seemed fine. Every dog owner should know this. It saved her life.
Authors, what this so-called agent is doing is cruel. They are mocking & exploiting writers. No author should be afraid that an agent is going to steal or expose their ideas. l’m taking a stand. I will not consider representing anyone who follows this account @un-manuscripts.bsky.social
