Most recent timeline for a client video.
Ended up creating 16 dedicated graphics shots for this video alone π
Was a lot of fun, though! Really allowed me to stretch some creative muscles I haven't done in a while.
Super pleased with the end result π₯

2025 is around the corner, and if you're a creator looking to start the year right, I'm doing a sale on my Content OS Notion Template π
It's 50% off, and will be like that for the whole week!
Pick it up using the link in the replies! ππ»
Big text saying "Editing YouTube Videos". Two lines going down either side quantifying the amount of effort they require. The shorter one says "Editing the video" and the other, much longer line says "finding music for the video. pain"
This struggle is pretty much universal for most editors.
Would love to connect to other awesome video editors on here.
Tell me what kind of stuff you edit ππ»
(And maybe show off your most recent timeline?) π

OH I misunderstood.
Iβd love the name to return. But Iβm open to something new to be honest. Maybe itβs time for it.
I mean, does it look like that platform is improving even if he does?
There's a lot more to look at and play with. You can read all of these new features and more over on Apple's site.
www.apple.com/newsroom/202...
I'm also a nerd for new workflow optimisations, including the ability to reorganise my timeline with just keyboard shortcuts.
Option + β + β to move singular or multiple clips up and down the timeline is going to be my most used shortcut, I can see it happening
3/ New Effects & Keyboard Shortcuts
There's also new keyboard shortcuts and optimisations, but also the introduction of 2 new effects. Callout and Picture in Picture
These captions aren't titles, and have limited controls and animations
But you can easily convert them using a tool like captionAnimator (or other tools if you find them) into animated titles with more options.
2/ Auto Captions
FINALLY!
Final Cut Pro 11 can now do auto-captions. If you work with subtitles or captions, you can use this to generate subtitles for your videos.
Note these are only in English for now, and uses AI but processes data on device (nothing is shared)
You can use this effect to
- Remove backgrounds
- Add animations or text behind subjects
- Add custom effects to objects or people
- Plus whatever else you can think of
1/ Magnetic Masks
Magnetic Masks are Apple's version of auto-rotoscoping.
1. Drag the effect onto a subject.
2. Let it analyse the clip
3. The background will then be removed
You can also use this on effects and colour corrections.
Apple have just released Final Cut Pro 11!
Here are the top 3 features I'm most excited about ππ»
Will consider it for sure.
The other reason I like Typefully is it's like $12.80 for X, Bluesky, Threads & LinkedIn.
I don't need the Shorts stuff so it ends up being cheaper.
Will see. I think Typefully is releasing their integration soon, but nice to look at options.
I currently pay for Typefully as I quite liked their writing tool. I may need to switch.
Happy to pay for the higher options too. Will check it out!
Finally followed me back. I'll call off the hit squad.
Does anyone have any batch social tools that include Blue Sky?
Currently waiting on @typefully.com to release theirs but don't have an ETA on it yet.
Once it's out, I plan on using this as my main platform then automating the other platforms (Threads + X + LinkedIn)
Would love to rebuild my following list here.
If youβre on here and weβre mutuals, let me know ππ»
Me: Oh you're an editor? What software do you use?
Editor: I use After Effects!
Me: Nice, so Premiere and all that?
Editor: No just After Effects
Me:...
Guess Iβm going to be using this a lot more soon.
