@sanders.senate.gov: "Focus on the needs of working people... Healthcare system is broken, childcare system is broken, housing crisis of enormous consequence, climate change is threatening the entire planet... Stay focused on what is important to working people, expose the hypocrisy of Trump."
We are nearing a precipice.
It’s sad on the eve of Presidents Day it’s appropriate to have to post this.
Don’t buy stuff on February 28. Money’s the only thing these dicks understand.

Knowledge is power…

Not even six hours apart.
Quote by author Stephen King that says “Fox news did to our parents what our parents were afraid video games would do to us.”
Full circle.

A random, beautiful library I wish I could visit in person! 😂
You’re welcome, friend!
It totally caught me by surprise…. I e never had anything to viral like that before!

I absolutely agree! He is a master!
Absolutely. But we also can’t trust that we have a safe village available, even if it was a true available resource (the village). People too often have ulterior motives, and finding a safe space or people is not impossible, but most times FEELS impossible.
Octavia Butler being a time traveler or seer, will forever be a hill I'm willing to die on, because there's just no way. Parable of The Sower was published in 1993. Look at this date. #BlackBookSky #BookSky
The past is the past. Sure did try to lol me, but I’m still standing. Broken but it brought strength. Current relationship is everything I didn’t think I could ever have. Parenthood is difficult. The modern world likes to try and mess things up that should be simple.
lol! My friend, you’re killing me! I love Nirvana but NO, not the same!
It’s easy reading, but still worthy!
“Heart Shaped Box” by Joe Hill
lol!!!! In our home, Biggs refers to our two older kids. Both 15, but from our two separate/previous marriages.
It’s definitely heavy. And yes, that’s the point.
So a light reading suggestion? Which also has some multi layered things….. “The Phantom Tollbooth”. I started it with my two Biggs during the summer 2 summers ago, but we live 7 hours away, and we haven’t finished it. It’s a MUST FINISH BOOK!
Why not start with the reference above? Have you read “Fahrenheit 451”?
That’s a lovely problem to have!
The little blue circle at the bottom of the screen with the pen inside it will allow you to post.
I would primarily describe it as dark fantasy with a mix of sci fi, some horror and even Western influences. The main character is like a time traveling gunslinger of sorts. This description does not do the series justice. Look into the connection of The Tower to all of SK’s books. All are connected
