This type of organizational #selfcensorship is scary because it's so hard to detect and has such a ripple effect. There is no hiding from Trump! We need our institutions to stand up and act as if their mission statements really guided their work.

I interviewed @etoddbreland.bsky.social about her new bio of CTU President/education activist Karen Lewis. Lewis planned to write the book, but a stroke and cancer stopped her. Fortunately, the two conducted many interviews before Lewis' death.
