big glossy fmv commercial of yshtola redeeming nectar points at argos
why *does* ffxiv only do collaborations with incredibly limited restaurant chains. might as well partner with greggs for a uk exclusive /sausageroll emote man fuck it.
you were the one to bring it to my attention! very glad i gave it the time because it was surprisingly sweet and moving
i could probably have placed like, half life or spyro or etc on one of these categories but at some point lauding games that famous is like saying "i breathe air" we know bro
most of these are fairly self explanatory but Spiritual Soul is a game I have a lot of fondness for and I doubt anyone knows it exists.
my votes for the thing

looking at screenshots of that slimegpt assistant thing they put into dqx and it's literally like " do you remember that day...... on 12th december 2021..... we entered the True Witchwood together..... i'll always be with you.... i love you "

My DQX Healslime is trained in the following skill tree paths; Goothsaying, Goo Jitsu and Theragootics
Oh I feel that, Pipestrello was my de-facto favourite new release of last year (and perhaps of the past few years lol) and it's hard to get in front of people. Like you say, there are so many top down action games I'm sure people's eyes just glaze over them at this point
I think that's the best approach to that question. What game do you think has a lot to offer but doesn't feel as though it's reached those who could recognise that yet? Obv I feel more people should play Tarotica Voo Doo, but also, people who'd like Tarotica Voo Doo have already played it lol
There are of course many games I much much prefer, but would be less willing to recommend to joe walmart. It's just a game I think back to surprisingly often. Pretty, oddly mature touch to its character writing, accessible enough. Idk I think it deserves a place in the broader conversation of games
The since time immemorial question people ask w/rt games is "which is the most underrated" and the answers rarely make sense nor actually take anything but the person giving their take's taste into account, but I suppose one of my fairest answers on what I feel that could be is Eastward...?
i saw the steam screenshots of currentday Infinity Nikki and i was like hmmmm maybe i should revisit but i shall hold fast because that game is asbestos
i wish i could be social at all man, i miss discord jamspaces and drawpiles
*imagines you*
yeah the ones after V3 really feel as though they returned to how V1 designed them, which isn't like, baaad, but it's incredibly flat and samey. Can't all be winners, but it feels as though they kinda gave up lol.
They're my favourite by far imo, V5 kinda brings it back but the zones following V3 all felt a bit standardised by my tastes. Having really strong isolated themes for each V3 zone massively helps kick them into overdrive.
Some of the best environments in DQX were the ones that the Wii was somehow rendering. This area in the Storm Realm in particular is brilliant imo. Strong winds and cloud effects making the whole area feel loud and alive, a really lovely limited palette, gigantic and multilayered zone.
I hate Porte I never wanna see Porte agai- never mind Porte has a beating heart deserving of love
