i somehow still got barricade??? far far left but still, idkhow barricade streak unbroken!!

i don’t see any of my concert kids here. i wonder if they bought headliner vip just to get barricade or if they just didn’t want to do opener or (the most tragique explanation) they have moved on to a new band

My Brain after Pop Punk / Emo Night
My Brain after Pop Punk / Emo Night YouTube video by Pat and Sean Kelly

i just saw a poll on tumblr asking whether you have a song stuck in your head and 1/4 voters said no. what is that even like; i have a song running through my head at all times, there literally isn't a single moment where my brain doesn't just sound like this www.youtube.com/watch?v=OIgO...

(as far as i can tell she’s fine; she won’t let me hold her to get a good feel of all her bones but her back and head and limbs all seem to be intact. she’s running the wheel and eating, so i think i just scared her to death)

i was trying to take a photo of dori and dropped my phone on her and i think she is never going to forgive me for this

I'm seeing idkhow tomorrow and for the first time in years I'm not camping out for barricade, because they're opening and the headliner has like 3 VIP tiers that all go in first so there's not much point. feels real weird to not be prepping for a day at the venue though.

you would think!! that these things would not be a high bar, especially the last one, AND YET

also the entire office was fun and kind. the phlebotomist was very short/straight to business but she did an excellent job, so. thanks 2 my bad insurance for forcing me to find a new doctor??

Some things the nurse practitioner did that I liked:
- she didn't even mention my weight
- we did talk about exercise/struggles of a sedentary job
- she didn't blink at me being vegan and just asked about B12
- she listened and responded to what I actually said instead of just pre-written questions

i specifically chose a nurse practitioner for my new pcp rather than a physician and I am glad i did because once again i had a better experience than I usually have with doctors. why do so many doctors suck so much

2 days ago 0 0 1 0

nurse: are you feeling depressed at all?
me: nothing more than, like, the state of the world would do
nurse: i know that’s right

ok feeling good about the new doctor’s office i chose lmao

xlov is the closest I've ever seen, which should be totally unsurprising lmao

if you haven't seen it, I really like how they arranged it for four people www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gbk4...

his choreography is some of my absolute fave in the business; he works with people who really Get what he’s trying to accomplish re: a genderless/androgynous performance style. i’ve seen so many dance covers of Move but straight up nobody gives it the same nuances he does

i get it, we all have different tastes and music is subjective and that's what makes the world great et cetera et cetera but I literally don't understand how every person in the world isn't obsessed with Taemin. how do you look at him perform and be normal about it

ok but now i am looking at the shirt, the shirt deserves all of the attention holy shit

i was out with friends tonight so now I have to rewind to watch Taemchella 2 electric boogaloo. i told them all I was missing him for this and the friend in charge of the aux cord in the car immediately put Move in the queue lmao

in my teens and early 20s I would pound caffeine all hours of the day, I was tired All The Time and just pushed through it because it was What One Does, but now I drink a single coffee in the morning and I am simply Not Tired at all until 2am or so when my body winds down. It's wild. Do recommend.

i'm sitting here completely unable to focus, absolutely exhausted despite 8 hours of sleep, and I'm like "damn i just used to live like this before I got a job that starts at 11am"

It really is such a game changer to be on your natural cycle. morning people are an oppressive class

I don't mind helping my parents out and taking care of the dogs when they need it, but oh my god it's exhausting. Not because they're high energy and require a lot of attention, but because they wake up /so early/ and my body is /not a morning body/
