Skeptical of American remakes? Especially just 5 years after the original’s release? I was! And boy did Jorma Taccone and the OVER YOUR DEAD BODY team prove those doubts wrong.
You’re gonna want to prioritize seeing this one on the big screen in a packed house this weekend.

A really powerful and engaging interview that people seriously need to watch.
Pedro Pascal, Sigourney Weaver, and Jon Favreau sit down to chat about "The Mandalorian and Grogu" with @pnemiroff.bsky.social.
An unforgettable convo that you can watch right now on the Fandango YouTube channel, and also an unforgettable moment with Papa Nems that I’ll cherish forever. ❤️🎥
Sitting down with the talent behind a new Star Wars project is always a dream, but this one was extra special. Not only was my dad in the room to watch this Fandango Big Ticket interview for The Mandalorian & Grogu, but Jon Favreau, Sigourney Weaver & Pedro Pascal were just the kindest to him.
Been eager to get Sepideh Moafi on Collider Ladies Night since Sundance 2020 when we got to chat for The Killing of Two Lovers. Beyond thrilled the time has finally come.

I’m still recovering from the beautiful whirlwind that is four days of @overlookfilmfest.bsky.social in NOLA, and couldn’t be more thankful.
Had the biggest blast co-hosting a night with John Kassir alongside @pnemiroff.bsky.social. I just keep finding new bucket list items to cross off.
“They didn’t think it was enough of a partnership. We’ve been married 37 years. I don’t know what else you need.”
Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick BOTH directed Family Movie, but only one got the credit.

Was such a wonderful treat to get to take the PaleyFest stage with this team to celebrate. Biggest thanks to team Nobody Wants This, Netflix and the Paley Center for having me! ❤️🎥

Nobody Wants This is the kind of show I feel like I need in my life in so many ways right now. Consistently funny and delightful but also, especially in Season 2, a super sharp and touching exploration of romance, friendship, and family.
They are all just as lovely as their show.
LOTS to discuss with #ThePitt's ISA BRIONES.
That Langdon & Santos apology scene, the state of Santos' relationship with Garcia, how she feels about Robby's sabbatical ... and, of course, loads about her journey to the show - Broadway, Star Trek & more!
What a journey, friend. ❤️🎥
2012: Met @donatobomb.bsky.social via a review he did for a short I made in film school that played New York Horror Film Festival. Been friends ever since.
2026: Did our very first live and in-person edition of our weekly live stream, The Merri Hour. The room was packed, the vibes were immaculate.

How I feel after watching this reminds me of how I feel after watching a Mike Flanagan show. Boston whipped up a deeply haunting series that’s also extremely soulful & magnetizing. No doubt I’ll be rewatching it.
What Rachel learns about her past, present & future is wholly redefining — a HUGELY demanding arc — and Morrone nails every ounce of it. She’s an impossibly compelling anchor.
And then there’s Camila Morrone. As one might expect, creepy things happen, dangerous things happen, and Morrone expertly takes Rachel through it all, but what wowed me most is how much access she gives the audience to her inner turmoil.
The character often makes frustrating choices, but Birney gives her JUST the right energy to turn her into a character you kind of can’t stand but also love watching — and feel for just enough.
Karla Crome’s Nell got one of the more surprising arcs, and she crushes every step of it, and Gus Birney who plays Portia has a vibe & screen presence that’s off the charts.
