The US has declared rhetorical war on the EU The calls from America this weekend to destroy the EU are revealing. They hate the union because it's the only thing that can keep European countries from being Russian or American vassals.

The calls from America this weekend to "abolish the EU" are for one simple reason: the EU is the only thing that can keep European nation-states from becoming Russian or American vassals.

What you’re witnessing is a populist assault on the BBC.

This is not an institutional scandal in any meaningful sense of the word. It is an attack on public service broadcasting.

What's behind Nigel Farage's deregulation plans for corporations?

Follow the money 👀

He isn't a party leader. He's a CEO. And his investors have spoken.

In the last General Election, the people opted to obliterate the Tories into extinction, rightfully so, but now those same Tories are defecting to Farage’s Reform & the people are like “Ooh give me more of your corruption, lies & disgraceful behaviour just in a lighter blue.”
It’s painfully stupid.

Up yours Farage, keep your snout out of Wales. There’s no welcome in the hillsides for you or your ilk…be gone!!! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🇪🇺🇬🇧🇲🇽

The more I think about her actual words, and how appallingly under-reported/understood they still seem to be, the more shocked & disgusted I am.

The ECHR was Britain’s response to WW2 fascist regimes. With authoritarianism on the rise again, we’d be mad to give up the protections it provides. Tell your MP we won’t let that happen! actionstorm.org/petitions/pr...

If you are watching the Reform Party controlled Councils with their endless mishaps, resignations, fallouts, scandals, mismanagement and sheer comedic idiocy, but still thinking of making these clowns a national government, representing the UK on the global stage, you are literally insane.

Nathan Gill will be sentenced on 21st November for 8 charges of taking Russian Bribes.

It’s essential that the European Parliament carries out an investigation in to UKIP, Brexit Party and Reform UK and their connection to Russia.

Investigation now!

Brexit is Farage and his fellow Brexiters' shitstorm to own. He/they can't be allowed to just pivot from heckle to heckle and bad idea to worse - while blaming everyone else - without consequences.

So the suggestion that Labour are going to amplify that truth is to be welcomed.

The numbers are clear. Most Britons now believe leaving Europe was a mistake. The next generation knows our future lies in cooperation, not isolation.

Calling English a 'rip-off degree' is one of the most blatant exhibitions of personal barbarism I've ever seen. You've demonstrated nothing but the poverty of your own mind.

Tories set a low bar after misspelling Britain on conference chocolate Misprinted wrappers pulled from Manchester goodie bags after derision on social media

People would have signed this off.

Others will have been shown the product.

Further individuals will have put them in the goodie bags.

How on Earth did nobody spot it?

Starmer on the “Farage boats”, Rachel Reeves on the economic benefits of youth mobility…

Are the Labour leadership starting to poke their heads out of their shells and dare to see a pro-EU pathway as a route both to fixing our woes and also attacking Farage’s Achilles’ heel?

Let’s hope so.

Yet it's a potentially fruitful line of argument.
Many of the UK's current problems stem from something most of us would prefer not to dwell on - Brexit. Depressed investment, low productivity, stagnant economic growth and living standards, the strain on the public finances and thus public services, food prices, the "Boriswave" of more than 2 million (legal) immigrants, increased red tape and border hassles for businesses, farmers and travellers... all can be traced back, to a greater or lesser extent, to 2016 and the EU Referendum. And who, as he reminds us again now, spent 30 years of his life campaigning for Britain to leave the EU? Farage.
It is he, Farage, who 'broke Britain' with Brexit and is now capitalising on the vast damage he caused

“Farage “broke Britain" with Brexit and is now, outrageously, capitalising on the vast damage he caused”

Article argues there’s no need to mention Reform’s racism as the Brexit shitshow is failure enough.
But that had its roots in racism too. So let’s do both.

It’s pretty simple really, vote Reform, get Putin.
Personally I prefer Governments that aren’t lapdogs of warmongering dictators.
Sick to death of Putin’s influence over British politics, and of people oblivious to the fact that they’re doing his bidding to disrupt the west.

Javier Milei had to beg a bail-out and already needs another. Argentina's economy is in a tailspin. Gov't bonds and peso in freefall. People starving, throwing rocks at him.

Farage last year: "He's amazing. It's Thatcherism on steroids. Cutting and slashing expenditure. That's leadership."
