It was arranged. It needed to be loud and visible and also fake so that he can escape, pretend to be dead, and find those who really put a hit out on him. Revenge will be had.
He is pretty articulate, but is very discerning about who he talks to. He won't get vulnerable with someone he doesn't trust.
