Yeah, Automata is a sequel to Replicant. They're set thousands of years apart so you can play them out of order but shit hits so much harder in Automata if you know.

The problem with this argument is manifold.

a) You're conflating 'adult romances' with 'pornography'. There is overlap (at times) but they're not the same.
Many classics are adult romances and not pornography. Tolstoy. Jane Eyre. Elizabeth Gaskell. Daphne du Maurier. D.H. Lawrence.

Wtf. Of course it's a rewarding experience! That doesn't stop it from being utterly terrifying and the worst pain I ever experienced in my life.
