What is your own use of LLMs in research and publishing?

I've also found it a helpful reviewer of manuscripts and reports I'm writing, giving me feedback.

Question for scientists: I am making extensive use of Claude to help me with coding and also help me make figures. This is a very helpful given the fact that I never got into Earth Science to become a coder. If I'm open about my use of an LLM in the publishing process, is this a problem?

A few issues have been raised with the REM code I shared a few days ago. I'll try to fix those early next week when I'm back in the office!
