I, too, have been in the trenches for a bit. Since 2020. Multiple WIPs, several 'oh so close's, and no cigars (yet). Onward and upward, my friend, onward and upward.

I appreciate the luck! I'm querying the MS before this one with mixed results so far (but when are they not?). I've got my fingers crossed!

Aaaand it's done! Man, I love the ending of this #WIP. This pass is complete which means she gets to nap until I come back to her in January. Hit the sweet spot I was aiming for at 93k and I could not be more happy. Sapphic immortals fill my heart with joy. #amwriting #writer #writingcommunity

Current project spans 52000 BCE - 2024 CE, dual POV, half love story (actually 30%), half heist. Current wordcount just inched over 90k, and I'm anticipating somewhere between there and 95k. Plus side, the timelines and braiding together in a lovely fashion. #amwriting #writingcommunity #writer

Success! Draft is officially complete. It's just under 88k, and I'm pretty dang pleased with that. Also, the ending had me going DAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW for about ten minutes. Hopefully that's a good thing. #amwriting #writingcommunity #writer

Hell yes! The love story section of the #WIP is coming along nicely. I was hoping this draft would be 90-95k, but I just hit 85 and I'm thinking it'll probably end 85-90. Still, I'm proud! About 75% of the way done with the love story! #amwriting #writingcommunity #writer
