Trump has always gotten away with vague and hypothetical speech and media never follows up with "How, exactly?" He has always been held to a lower standard.

It’s diabolical! Trump is both plaintiff AND defendant in his multiple suits against the Federal Government. Since he controls the DOJ he simply directs them not to vigorously defend the government (taxpayers) and settle out of court so that no judge has a chance to halt the obvious self-dealing!
