With Hat Atelier is, no exaggeration, one of the most mesmerizing comics out there. Kamome Shirahama isn't "good at drawing" - she has great technical skill, yes, but she controls the flow like no one else, comes up with imagery that projects a world, and roots all of it in the themes of her series

Today was really hard but managed to get through it. Made new memories and mourned what wasn’t there. Miss you dad 💖
