I always feel a little bad when a book that has a smaller number of reviews wasn’t my favorite. I’m still gonna review it honestly, I know that reading is subjective… but I also understand that authors puts their soul into their work and I find myself wishing I somehow liked it more.

YA books have been doing good things for my brain recently

If you weren’t on Booktok, you don’t really get to have an opinion right now. Many marginalized creators were able to build community there and grow platforms. I now have a publishing imprint, publishing Indigenous books, BCUZ of Booktok. We are all struggling with how to rebuild on other apps.

Oof. Just watched How to Date Billy Walsh solely because of my crush on Charithra Chandran. That was unfortunately one of the worst movies I've watched in a long time time.
