I do hope so, because I'm in the minority who don't play Switch games and aren't really interested in playing em...

More like this. It's what especially makes me hate these foldable phones that keep on coming out, because they fundamentally do not understand why so many people want these keyboards back, physical input...
Your OC is older than me lol
I miss when phones had physical keyboards...
Plus doing a fix won't trigger an efuse and brick the device!
Not to mention, you can easily jury rig your own phone or laptop or PC for emulation as well thanks to retroarch
Honestly valid, the Gameboy Pocket sucks ass for my big hands
Yep, you can get a PSP on eBay or buyee still. Buyee could be cheaper depending on the bullshit known as tariffs.
(I had to pay a $10 surcharge for a physical copy of the orange box (It was an orange shell version for PC) because the seller lives in Canada but shipped in NY.)
You're not really missing out on much in terms of comfort to be honest, it's just too thin
The homebrew scene for the PSP has also forged the homebrew scenes for so many other consoles as well. The hard work you see for most Homebrew applications, a lot of that code originated from projects for the PSP!
I still use mine, ironically though, mostly as a GBA emulator XD
That's the thing though, they're trying to make it seem like this in the first place, even though this is a movement that has been charged by over two decades worth of enshitification.
Don't forget the homebrew too!
" Alexa, Alexa, Alexa, turn off the lights"
" Fuck, Alexa, turn on TV, Alexa turn off the lights"
" God damn it, you piece of shit, Alexa, turn on TV, Alexa, turn off the fucking lights"
Ducc
Those are worth their weight in gold lol
Yeah, VR honestly was doomed to fail due to the lack of open development for it. You seriously NEED homebrew development for anything to survive the market...
(God I wish I had the controllers for my Dell Visor, oh and enough room to play with it)
Agreed, nothing really feels new, just regurgitations of the same old shit. Maybe holograms? I doubt it though...
I bet you I could have hacked the OS on one to remove the ads considering they run a fork of Android
Actually, only for the early models. If you got an Arcade model or later, they're still fine.
A lot of my OGX discs haven't survived the test of time either. I got TWO copies of Forza Motorsport 1 that are practically unplayable due to decay destroying the code on the discs that are meant to help handle save data.
Which is why logging it on a wiki that must act neutral and cite its data helps. Can't brush off responsibly cited data!
consumerrights.wiki
Don't forget the disc drives just randomly dying. My dad had to do that twice
Yep, plus later revisions stopped that shit too (so damn thankful for my Jasper unit)
However, depending on the storage medium, you can also be just plain fucked in general.
- Bit rot
- Disc decay
- Demagnetization
- Dry batteries killing any saved data
(And yet people wonder why I sail the flag...๐ดโโ ๏ธ)
Not to mention an era where so many GAAS titles are being shut down so all of that money invested just goes POOF. 2K is the worst here because everything is now tied to online, so once they take down the servers, all you can do is buy the next entry because fuck poor people I guess
9. It doesn't need the internet for basic FUCKING functionality (I've unscrewed smart bulbs before due to late night Comcast outages)
10. It's easier and more legal to fix
I mean seriously, unless you hack your console (which reqs breaking a digital lock, violating Sec 1201), you can't legally play MechAssault on modern hardware, EVEN IF YOU OWN THE FUCKING DISC.
Hi there, Core Gen Z here.
1. I own the tech
2. The tech doesn't come with ads baked in everywhere
3. I can legally fix the tech (fuck Sec 1201 of the DMCA)
4. For gaming, I don't need an Internet connection
5. Modding is cool too
