It's not a "handle" for the whole "internet".

It's not a "Bluesky" account, a lot of us don't host our account there, and hopefully less will over time.

Atmosphere came from the community, we build as a community.

Don't overcomplicate it.

I keep telling myself I’m going to do this. Hopefully you start feeling better soon!

Honestly the only reason it’s not is because I need to do some clean up on the code and it’s also in a monorepo with some things I’m not ready to release yet. This is a big piece of feedback I’ve received so I’m going to prioritize cleanup and splitting the code.

Fun fact: I was actually driving across the Mackinac bridge when I thought of the name for the app.

@mackinac.social is using Bridgy Fed's API to blur the lines between protocols so people can find their people regardless of their platforms.

Tons of unique features, and @whiteside.io did most of this without even needing our help! In fact, we got some new ideas from this ourselves 🤔

Love this! I’ve said it before, but Surf is one of my favorite places to build feeds.

Maybe we just do healthcare instead?

The new client I've been working on @mackinac.social has the same bridge switching functionality as @atexplore.social. Any account that is bridged via Bridgy Fed will show a bridge icon and enable you to easily view content on the other protocol.

I’ve been kinda heads down on this for a while, but I think it’s in a spot where I’m ready for others to try it out. Mackinac is a multi-protocol client; you can use both your Bluesky and Mastodon accounts. This builds on some of the work I’ve been doing with @atexplore.social. Try it out!

This app was fun for about a couple hours.

- You can switch to a new provider with no fuss

- Works great with personal websites

And, Bluesky is an atmosphere app.
