Any script writer or novelist worth their Final Draft license (or scrivener!) would be run out of the writers room with this sort of trite, shallow nonsensical diarrhea of words. Don't even get me started on the run-on sentences and the dangling sentence structures and thought tangents.

This shit is "Hey, Homelander is the good guy" territory. Some angry Ed Rooney incoherent & impotent anger. It's Cobra Commander, Biff Tannen, and pick any Austin Powers villain all wrapped up into one.

What makes characters engaging are the little bits of gray around them, their slight moments of empathy, their slivers of humanities, and that glimpse into their soul to find understanding. The villain comes across two-dimensional, intellectually stunted, and grammatically challenged.

This dialogue just reeks of insecurity and weakness, written by an lazy talentless hack with soft uncalloused hands trying to write someone acting hard but have no personal reference because they spent their entire life encased in a jello palace.

This is some mustache twirling cartoonishly evil monologuing by a silly end boss from an 8 bit Nintendo game, an 80s "American Ninja" villain cobbled together by an puberty-fueled teenager going through a power trip while masturbating for the first time as he dungeon masters his first D&D campaign.

As a professional storyteller, let's review this latest episode and discuss why it falls utterly flat, shall we?

The problem with the whole scene is that it breaks the fourth wall, pulling the reader out of immersion due to how utterly unbelievable it is.
