so: yes. playing the game still gives the creator money. stop playing pressure, play something else. i heard darkest hours is pretty good so far.

now this is only possible if you're a game who published a big as hell update thats bringing players back.

so its safe to say that pressure made a FUCK TON of robux when they released their biggest update a couple weeks ago.

on top of this system is the audience expansion rewards.

lets say theres players who only play roblox to play your game specifically. creators get MASSIVE payouts if you bring back lapsed players and bring new users to play your game—and this is done when you share a link of the game.

these type of players are called "active spenders" and don't think you're not marked as one of these because i know DAMN well a lot of you spend robux on catalog avatar creator to make your avatars.

first is the daily engagement system. if a player that plays your game has spent at least 1000 robux on literally anything over the past 60 days and chooses your game as one of the three games they play on a daily basis: the creator receives 5 robux if you play for at least a total of 10 minutes.

creator rewards instead pays developers by how much time the individual plays the game and how many times they come back to roblox to play said game.

since july 2025, roblox has depricated the premium payouts feature in favor of Creator Rewards: which is a new payout system to combat against slop games / free model games

i don't know how they can make it possible i think. no matter how much content an mmorpg makes, it always points to the holy grail of big numbers as the goal. it would be fun to find an mmorpg like this though.
