Brilliant strategy to let COVID run rampant and infect everyone and their children multiple times. Then no one wants to face it or talk about it or begin to think about how we might solve or approach it, or just move forward and not remain in place. Brilliant and evil.
It would be great if the CBC would reach out to @cancovsoc.bsky.social or @longcovidcan-co.bsky.social for a report for Long Covid Awareness month to get a clearer picture of why kids (and teachers) are sick so often. And talk with cleanindoorairto.ca about the role of indoor air quality in schools.

I wish the only-vaxers would get as fired up about other ways to prevent infection as they do about the vaccines. Their unshakable belief that they don’t need to do anything more than get the shot to be good and reasonable people is a very big part of the reason the pandemic isn’t over.

Influenza test positivity is very high in Ontario and remains the highest in children (5-11 yrs) at 73.3% and adolescents (12-19 yrs) at 67.3%. COVID-19 and RSV are also circulating.
These viruses are airborne: we get sick by breathing them in!
